Aesculapian Medical Society Monthly Meeting will be held at Ruth Chris Steak House, 96th Street and Keystone Avenue. The sponsor will be Sanofi Aventis.
The speaker will be Dr. Ernest Asamoah, Board Certified in Endocrinology. Dr. Asamoah received his medical education at the University of Ghana Medical School. He did his residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and his fellowship training at Brown University School of Medicine.

Black Nurses Association of Indianapolis 7th Annual Luncheon and Fundraiser at the Ritz Charles Conference Facility in Carmel, IN from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m.
The event will take place on Friday, October 21st beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m. The theme is on obesity and the keynote speaker will be Deborah Miller. Please see the attached announcement and flyer. In the past proceeds from the event have generated support for organizations like the American Red Cross and 100 Black Men of Indianapolis. This year several organizations will benefit that promote health and focus on reduction of obesity. Dr. Moore was the keynote speaker last year and Dr. Henderson has been a speaker in the past. AMS will sponsor a full page ad for the event’s program.

The AMS meeting will take place at the Methodist Hospital Lilly Conference Center, 1600 North Senate Boulevard, Room DG433. Parking is available in Visitor Parking Garage #2 and from there enter the Professional Building. From there proceed to the Library and take the stairs next to the library to the Lilly Conference Center in the basement. Turn left at the carpeted hallway to room DG-433. The start time is 6:00 p.m.
