BMI Chart for Obesity and Overweiight

To calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI), look down the left column to find your height, look across the top row to the weight nearest your weight and the number in the column is yourBMI.

Your BMI Score means

Under 20 - May indicate malnutrition

20 - 24.9 - Healthy weight range for most people

25 - 29.9 - Increased risks for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea and some cancers.

Over 30 - At risk for above disease

You may be at risk if your waist circumference is:

MEN - 37 OR MORE INCHES

WOMEN - 31 OR MORE INCHES

Morbid Obesity means a person's weight is 50% - 100% more than normal, a BMI of 40 or more and more than 80-100 pounds over normal  or at a level that it severely interferes with health and normal function.
